Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about your next pair of handcrafted boots.

How do I determine my correct size in White's Boots?

Most of our heritage boots run large compared to standard athletic shoes. We generally recommend sizing down a half size, but for the most accurate fit, we suggest using our downloadable sizing guide or visiting a professional for a Brannock device measurement.

What is the typical lead time for custom boot orders?

Since our custom boots are handcrafted to your specific requirements, the current lead time is approximately 12 to 16 weeks. Ready-to-wear items typically ship within 2 to 3 business days.

Can my boots be rebuilt or resoled?

Yes, one of the primary benefits of our stitchdown construction is that the boots are fully rebuildable. You can send your boots back to our Spokane factory for a full rebuild, which includes new outsoles, midsoles, and even a new vamp if necessary.

What is your return policy for unworn boots?

We accept returns on all stock items within 30 days of delivery, provided they are in brand new, unworn condition with original packaging. Please note that custom-made 'Build Your Own' boots are final sale and cannot be returned.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship our boots globally. Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location. Please be aware that customers are responsible for any local customs duties or taxes.

How should I care for the leather on my new boots?

To ensure longevity, we recommend cleaning your boots with a damp cloth and applying a high-quality leather preservative or oil every 3-6 months, depending on usage. Avoid high heat sources when drying wet boots, as this can cause the leather to crack.
